St. Padre Pio Prayer Group
About our Patron
St. Pio of Pietrelcina, lovingly known as “Padre Pio”, was an Italian Capuchin friar, priest, and mystic known for his deep piety, miraculous healings, and the stigmata — wounds resembling those of Christ — which he bore for most of his life. Renowned for his holiness and spiritual gifts, he became a symbol of faith, suffering, and compassion.
Join our Group
For many years, members of the prayer group have joined together monthly to pray for God’s grace through St. Pio’s powerful intercession. Specific prayer intentions include asking God to save souls, for the Pope, for priests, for suffering, souls in purgatory, for the poor and marginalized, and for the church in all her needs.
The group meets at 5:00 PM every First Friday of the month in the chapel at Holy Rosary Church
