Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus are a pre-eminent Catholic laymen’s organization which supports the work of the universal church and the local parish. Founded by Blessed Michael J. McGivney in 1882, the Knights of Columbus put to use the core principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism here at home and beyond as the world’s largest Catholic fraternity. From scholarship programs to youth events, pro-life support, and local food drives, the Knights of Columbus are about living in faith through service. Here in Ansonia, Our Lady of the Valley Parish is blessed to have two councils, living out these principles day in and day out. Meeting is every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Rectory.
